President, CEO

Julian Movsesian, MBA

Julian Movsesian is the President and Founder of Capital Management Strategies℠, Inc. (CMS Inc.) and CEO of Succession Capital Alliance™ (SCA). In 1985 Julian began his life insurance career when he joined Connecticut Mutual Life, which later merged with MassMutual Life. From that very first year in the business, he consistently ranked as one of the top producers in the company often at national levels.

In 1996, all while being one of the leading agents in the industry, Julian introduced his most exciting endeavor, the creation of the financed insurance concept, The Capital Maximization Strategy (CMS). Over the years CMS has been endorsed by 10 major insurance carriers, and continues to be nationally recognized as the largest and longest running premium finance program in the insurance industry. For more than 2 decades CMS has benefited affluent clients, businesses and families.

Emerging from an inventive partnership between CMS Inc. and a Fortune 20 company, Succession Capital Alliance™ (SCA) was formed in 2004 to address a void in the understanding and communication of life insurance within the insurance industry. Today, Advisors throughout the country utilize SCA for their high-net-worth clients for estate and succession planning purposes. This collaboration has resulted in the placement of more than $52 billion of life insurance coverage, with a financed premium portfolio that now exceeds $5 billion.

Julian’s skills as an innovator in the insurance industry are recognized nationally. He is invited frequently to be a guest speaker at national conferences for leading insurance companies. He has received numerous awards and honors. Julian and Succession Capital were presented the Reinventing Company of the Year award from Associated Corporate Growth (ACG) for having reshaped the landscape of the life insurance industry in how the affluent purchase life insurance policies for estate, business, and retirement planning purposes. Recently, Julian made the Orange County Business Journal's OC 500 list, which highlights Orange County's most influential individuals.
As a philanthropist, Julian and Succession Capital Alliance Foundation give back to the community by supporting various charitable organizations that support children through education and direction to encourage them to reach their full potential. Julian was recently honored by Childhelp with their Philanthropic Award and by Big Brothers Big Sisters with their Man of the Year award.

Chief Financial Officer

Jennifer Rodgers

Jennifer has over 25 years of financial accounting experience in public, private and global sectors. Jennifer started her career working in public accounting specializing in Audit and Assurance services. Most recently, Jennifer served as a financial controller for a large global aerospace company supporting multiple locations within the U.S. She is experienced with large, mid-size, and small businesses, providing innovative solutions to improve efficiencies in the accounting process and assist management with financial
planning & analysis.

Jennifer Rodgers is the CEO and Founder of Rodgers & Associates,
LLC. An entrepreneur at heart. She has spent a decade of her career running her own successful business which was Federally Funded and Nationally Accredited. She has a passion for helping small to mid-size companies grow their financial position and
streamline their processes.

Jennifer has experience in multiple ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics, accounting software implementation and conversions, along with various small business accounting software and platforms.

Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Fullerton and has made a career in finance and accounting. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and their two teenage boys, volunteering in her community, working on creative projects, spending time in nature, and expanding on her spiritual development.

Regional Vice President

Daniel Ditusa, MBA

Dan is a Regional Vice President at Succession Capital Alliance (SCA) covering the Northeast, Illinois, Michigan, and Kentucky where he is responsible for building relationships with the top Producers in the industry to present their high-net-worth clients with trusted solutions to protect their families, businesses, and estates. Dan possesses extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and has a proven track record of delivering first-class service and integrity to advisors and their most valued clients.

Prior to joining SCA, Dan spent several years at Morgan Stanley on a “Forbes Best in State" Wealth Management Team building his own business and serving as the Team’s Financial Planning Specialist. He was a member of the firm’s Pacesetter’s Club which recognizes the Next Generation of top Financial Advisors in the industry.

Outside of work, Dan holds two leadership positions in the community. He is the Financial Literacy Coach for Stop Soldier Suicide, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting recovering military veterans establish themselves in life post-service. His responsibilities include helping veterans create personal budgets and strong credit-building habits. Additionally, he is on the Veteran’s Council for Elks Lodge Summit NJ where he helps the Grant Application team secure funding and assists veterans and their families move into new housing.

Dan received both his Undergraduate and M.B.A in Finance from Seton Hall University where he was a member and captain of the baseball team. Dan and his wife Dana reside in Chatham, NJ with their son Russell.

Regional Vice President

Griffin O'Connor

Griffin O'Connor is the Regional Vice President at Succession Capital Alliance covering the West Coast. Griffin plays a pivotal role in guiding clients and advisors through advanced life insurance strategies to meet their unique financial needs. With his team full of experts, diverse background in financial services, and mentorship from Julian Movsesian and Michael Rothman, Griffin provides insights and tailored solutions to his advisors and their clients, ensuring their financial security and long-term success.

Before joining Succession Capital Alliance, Griffin developed a strong foundation in investment strategies and portfolio management during his tenure at the Yale Investments Office. Building on this experience, he continued to expand his career at Morgan Stanley in Private Wealth Management, further solidifying his financial acumen.

While Griffin's professional accomplishments are noteworthy, his athletic experiences hold a special place in his heart. As a distinguished member of the Yale Football Team, he made a lasting impact in the sport, earning prestigious accolades such as the Ivy League Rookie of the Year award and establishing himself as a Yale Quarterback record holder. Furthermore, Griffin proudly contributed to his team's success as an Ivy League Champion.

Beyond his professional and athletic endeavors, Griffin is highly dedicated to making a positive impact. Whether it's guiding clients toward financial prosperity, mentoring aspiring professionals, or engaging in philanthropic initiatives, Griffin is driven by a desire to create lasting value and contribute meaningfully to the world around him.

Senior Life Case Manager

Mark Williams

Mark is the Senior Case Manager at Succession Capital Alliance (SCA). He is responsible for navigating large and complex cases through underwriting. His position also involves helping SCA’s other case managers overcome problems that arise during the underwriting process, as well as work with the inforce service team handling our valued and long-time clientele.

Mark joined SCA in August 2000 after having started in the insurance business in the mid 80’s. He has worked with different companies, serving in different roles of the industry: administration, underwriting, servicing and sales, grateful for every opportunity over the years.

Mark always wanted to be an architect growing up in an artistic family. Now, he still has that love of art, and spends his free time painting, and working with his hands doing carpentry and welding - which he learned during covid.

Design Specialist

Alexis Chu

Meet Alexis, a professional with a passion for case design in the premium financing insurance industry. Starting as a dedicated case manager at SCA, Alexis transitioned into the role of a design specialist, where she is responsible for creating and designing cases for carrier products.

Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She has been contributing to the life insurance field and gaining valuable experience since 2012. The fun fact about Alexis is she hates all kinds of cheese.

Alexis lives in the city of Brea, CA, she finds enjoyment in exploring the outdoors through hiking adventures and staying active with Pilates. She believes the life journey is a commitment to growth, creativity, and a willingness to embrace the unexpected.

Michael J. Rothman, CFP

Michael Rothman has an in-depth understanding of advanced tax and estate planning techniques as well as sophisticated leveraging and wealth preservation strategies. Working with Succession Capital Alliance (SCA) since 2000, and officially becoming the Executive Vice President in 2012, Michael has successfully placed billions of dollars of life insurance using the CMS program.

Working directly with Financial Advisors and their High Net Worth clients, Michael has a recognized expertise in the Premium Financing space, and is a sought after Industry speaker on the topic to Financial Advisors around the country.

Chief Underwriting Officer

Brian Whitmore

Brian Whitmore serves as Chief Underwriting Officer for Succession Capital Alliance, where he is responsible for the activities and operation of loan, underwriting, medical underwriting, case design and client service teams. His focus is on developing the best customer experience for our client.

Brian’s experience in the life insurance industry spans over three decades and has touched many facets of the agency system. Prior to joining SCA, Brian was a marketing director at the 2nd largest MassMutual agency in the country. In 2002, Brian joined Capital Management Strategies as a manager of operations and expanded his role as the Vice President of Operations with the launch of Succession Capital Alliance in 2006.
Brian draws from his distinctive knowledge and experience in traditional life insurance premium financing, to build and oversee unmatched underwriting services to support the “advisor to the advisor” joint work model at SCA.

A graduate of University California, Irvine (UCI) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Brian also was selected to a coveted spot to earn a minor in Management from the UCI Graduate School of Management in the first year it was offered at the school.

He lives in Huntington Beach, CA with his wife and two sons. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports and great movies.

Regional Vice President

Michael Wurth

Michael Wurth joined Succession Capital in January, 2021. Hired before the official RVP program was put in place, Michael spent his first 2 years at SCA supporting Michael Rothman and managing all cases in underwriting. His territory includes San Diego, Inland Empire, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Florida, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Prior to joining SCA, Michael worked for Apple in their Beijing office where he was the only non-native Chinese speaker on Apple’s team of 250 employees. He was specifically responsible for analyzing the financials and setting targets for iPhone sales in the Greater China region, a $50 Billion dollar revenue generating group. After his time in China he completed his MBA in Barcelona, Spain in 2019 before launching his own Search Fund after graduation.

Aside from work, Michael is passionate about education and his faith. He and his wife are currently working on starting Classical Education schools in Southern California. He is also a board member for the USC Caruso Catholic Center.

Michael received his undergraduate degrees in International Business and Chinese Language and Culture from the University of Southern California and his MBA and Spanish degree from IESE in Barcelona. Michael and his wife met in Rome and have been married since 2019. They live in Aliso Viejo, CA with their two sons and Chocolate Lab, Kona, and they are expecting their third child in August 2023.

VP, Marketing & Strategic Partnerships

Adrina Movsesian

Adrina Movsesian is the Marketing Director at Succession Capital Alliance (SCA), covering all digital marketing efforts, events, branding, and design. Growing up as a legacy to the life insurance industry, Adrina left her career in television and fashion and entered the life insurance space in 2017. Since taking on the role, she has rebranded the company, grown their conference line-up, and headed multiple creative campaigns.

Adrina received her Undergraduate degree from Chapman University in Southern California where she studied Television Broadcast Journalism and Advertising. She is recently married and enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her family, and Goldendoodle Lemon.

Life Case Manager

Chandré Richard

Chandré is a Case Manager with Succession Capital Alliance (SCA). She started out in the firm as an Assistant to Michael Rothman, followed by Assistant to Julian Movsesian and in 2017 she was promoted to the underwriting department.

Prior to joining SCA, Chandré spent a few years at Metropolitan Financial Group in the sales and processing department for Property and Casualty lines of insurance. In addition, Chandré worked at Winchell’s Donuts as Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Operations.

Senior Renewal Coordinator

Joe Robles

Joe is a Senior Renewal Coordinator at Succession Capital Alliance (SCA) handling all servicing and renewals within the firm. Joe has extensive knowledge of premium financing and understanding of insurance products within the industry.

Prior to joining SCA, Joe had spent 10 years in the mortgage industry.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and spending the weekend mornings watching English Premier League soccer games.

Joe received his Undergraduate from the University of California, Berkeley where he was a member of the football team for 4 years.

Executive Assistant to Chief Distribution Officer

Yolanda Lerma

Yolanda Lerma, Administrative Assistant to Michael Rothman, joined Succession Capital Alliance in 2012. She coordinates Michael’s meeting arrangements, travel, and administrative support to streamline his daily workload and communications with financial advisors and their clients.

Prior to joining Succession Capital Alliance, Yolanda worked over 20 years at a national telecommunications company and spent 8 years at the corporate headquarters of a jewelry direct sales company. She lives in Dana Point with her husband, Fred, has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. She enjoys time with her family, reading and, having been born and raised in California, outdoor exercise.

Chief Operating Officer

Danielle C. Williamson

Danielle Williamson serves as Chief Operating Officer for Succession Capital Alliance, where she is responsible for day-to-day operations, strategic development, technology, marketing, and driving efficiencies across the firm. Danielle leads the growth & development of the organization alongside Julian Movsesian and Michael Rothman.

Prior to joining SCA, Danielle served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Amwins Group, the largest global specialty insurance distributor. As a member of their Leadership Team, she joined SCA with broad experience across the insurance distribution segment in all aspects of operations, data analytics, digital distribution, and business strategy. Danielle received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Azusa Pacific University and went on to become a Certified Master Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.

She lives in Dana Point, CA with her husband and two sons. She is passionate about giving back to her local community and is a Board Member for the Boys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area. She spends her time at BGC focused on elevating financial literacy & resources for the children who walk through their doors. On a personal note, she enjoys exploring the world with her family, golf, hiking & great music.

Executive Vice President, Advanced Tax Planning

Kristin Williams

Kristin Williams is a Tax Attorney with a J.D. and an L.LM. in Taxation. In her role as SVP of Strategic Resources and Advanced Sales, provides NFP with specialized expertise in the area of Advanced Sales; providing guidance on sophisticated wealth transfer plans for families and business owners. Kristin worked as Associate Counsel for John Hancock Life Insurance, Co for 8 years where she helped shape corporate legal strategy and developed a reputation as an industry leader in her field. She began her career practicing as a tax attorney, focusing on corporate and personal planning for closely-held businesses and their owners, in Boston, MA. Throughout her career, Kristin has been responsible for implementing complicated tax plans for individuals and is a sought-after speaker within her industry, traveling regularly in that capacity. Kristin is a member of the PartnersFinancial Board and serves on Diversity Task Force, which looks to expand diversity in the her industry, the Editorial Board, which is responsible for content for Finseca, and Finseca’s Issues Alliance Committee, which tracks Federal legislation and its potential impact on the estate planning industry.
Regional Vice President

Kyle Castner, CFP

Kyle Castner is a Regional Vice President for Succession Capital Alliance (SCA) covering the Central and Southeastern regions. He is responsible for providing expertise on advanced life insurance planning and premium financing as well as building strong relationships with the top producers in his region. Kyle has a comprehensive understanding of advanced financial plans and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He delivers consistent white-glove service to advisors and their most valued clients.

Prior to joining SCA, Kyle spent several years at Goldman Sachs as a Wealth Manager with a team who managed a multi-billion-dollar book of business. Before his wealth management career, Kyle spent a few years as a Capital Markets Associate in New York City which helped shape his extensive knowledge of market dynamics.

Outside of the office Kyle spends his time as a regional leader for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) who helps organize events and fundraisers to help families and children impacted by the diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. Kyle has lived with diabetes since the age of 7 and has a passion for bringing hope to families in similar situations. In college, Kyle was a team captain for the Columbia University Football Team. He was recognized as an All-Ivy-League Athlete, received the team’s Most Valuable Offensive Player award, the Academic-All-Ivy credential, and graduated with honors. Kyle currently lives in Dallas, TX and is passionate about sports, fishing, golf, his family and Goldendoodle, Duncan.

Director, Client Solutions

Alexandra Jorczak

Alexandra Jorczak serves as Director of Client Solutions for Succession Capital Alliance, where she assists the SCA team in developing design strategies for current and new clients based on their financial concerns in this ever-evolving marketplace. Alex brings a wealth of product knowledge and expertise to this role from her previous 7 years as a Case Designer with the SCA Design Team.

Prior to joining SCA, her insurance experience came from serving two years as a Client Service Manager for the Pacific Advisors and Northwestern Mutual firms here in Newport Beach. Given the high learning curve, she joined Succession Capital with a broad education in the administrative and sales strategies for insurance clients across multiple carriers.

Alex received a Bachelor of English from University of Maryland with a 1-year study abroad opportunity with the University of Sheffield, England. After college, she worked abroad for a year as a Media Consultant in the Philippines, selling international advertising to Fortune 500 companies and developing the communication skills needed to enhance any opportunity.

She currently lives in Mission Viejo, CA with her husband and dog. On a personal note, she enjoys reading vast amounts of books, concerts with her family, and traveling abroad.

Senior Design Specialist

Richard Dennison

Richard brings over 20 years of experience to his role as Senior Design Specialist for Succession Capital Alliance. He provides customized insurance solutions, carrier and product analysis, and ongoing education and training for the SCA team.

Prior to joining SCA, Richard started his career in the financial services industry as a paraplanner with Sagemark Consulting where he was promoted to Director of Referral Marketing. This led to a case design position with Tax and Financial Group.

Richard attended California State University, Fullerton where he received a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Studies.

Renewal Coordinator

Liliana Barajas

Liliana is a Renewal Coordinator at Succession Capital Alliance where she is responsible for coordinating the annual review process for maintaining the client’s premium financing loan as well as other routine client service requests throughout the year.

Liliana received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Monterey Bay.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach and hanging out with her dog, a poodle-mixed rescue named Michael.

Executive Assistant to Chief Operating Officer

Gwen Vo

Gwen Vo serves as the Executive Assistant to the COO, where she is responsible for managing executive calendars, ensuring seamless correspondence with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing for meetings. She also supports requests of senior executives and regional vice presidents to guarantee smooth operations including taking the lead on special projects, coordinating state licensing, and monitoring commission and case tracking reports. Gwen is additionally trusted with the task of managing office supply orders, maintaining a well-resourced and efficient workspace.
Prior to joining SCA, Gwen has accumulated experience spanning over 14 years as an Executive/Personal Assistant in the wealth management and investment industry. This followed a successful tenure as an Employment Assessment Counselor, honing her ability to navigate and advise on professional pathways.

Gwen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and furthered her education through the Educational Counseling Master’s program at San Jose State University.

Currently residing in Laguna Hills, CA, Gwen enjoys spending quality time with her extended family. She also keeps active by engaging in various dance classes, including ballroom and line dancing, adding rhythm to her free time.
