Before joining Succession Capital Alliance, Griffin developed a strong foundation in investment strategies and portfolio management during his tenure at the Yale Investments Office. Building on this experience, he continued to expand his career at Morgan Stanley in Private Wealth Management, further solidifying his financial acumen.
While Griffin's professional accomplishments are noteworthy, his athletic experiences hold a special place in his heart. As a distinguished member of the Yale Football Team, he made a lasting impact in the sport, earning prestigious accolades such as the Ivy League Rookie of the Year award and establishing himself as a Yale Quarterback record holder. Furthermore, Griffin proudly contributed to his team's success as an Ivy League Champion.
Beyond his professional and athletic endeavors, Griffin is highly dedicated to making a positive impact. Whether it's guiding clients toward financial prosperity, mentoring aspiring professionals, or engaging in philanthropic initiatives, Griffin is driven by a desire to create lasting value and contribute meaningfully to the world around him.
Prior to joining SCA, Michael worked for Apple in their Beijing office where he was the only non-native Chinese speaker on Apple’s team of 250 employees. He was specifically responsible for analyzing the financials and setting targets for iPhone sales in the Greater China region, a $50 Billion dollar revenue generating group. After his time in China he completed his MBA in Barcelona, Spain in 2019 before launching his own Search Fund after graduation.
Aside from work, Michael is passionate about education and his faith. He and his wife are currently working on starting Classical Education schools in Southern California. He is also a board member for the USC Caruso Catholic Center.
Michael received his undergraduate degrees in International Business and Chinese Language and Culture from the University of Southern California and his MBA and Spanish degree from IESE in Barcelona. Michael and his wife met in Rome and have been married since 2019. They live in Aliso Viejo, CA with their two sons and Chocolate Lab, Kona, and they are expecting their third child in August 2023.
Prior to joining SCA, Kyle spent several years at Goldman Sachs as a Wealth Manager with a team who managed a multi-billion-dollar book of business. Before his wealth management career, Kyle spent a few years as a Capital Markets Associate in New York City which helped shape his extensive knowledge of market dynamics.
Outside of the office Kyle spends his time as a regional leader for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) who helps organize events and fundraisers to help families and children impacted by the diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. Kyle has lived with diabetes since the age of 7 and has a passion for bringing hope to families in similar situations. In college, Kyle was a team captain for the Columbia University Football Team. He was recognized as an All-Ivy-League Athlete, received the team’s Most Valuable Offensive Player award, the Academic-All-Ivy credential, and graduated with honors. Kyle currently lives in Dallas, TX and is passionate about sports, fishing, golf, his family and Goldendoodle, Duncan.
Prior to joining SCA, Dan spent several years at Morgan Stanley on a “Forbes Best in State" Wealth Management Team building his own business and serving as the Team’s Financial Planning Specialist. He was a member of the firm’s Pacesetter’s Club which recognizes the Next Generation of top Financial Advisors in the industry.
Outside of work, Dan holds two leadership positions in the community. He is the Financial Literacy Coach for Stop Soldier Suicide, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting recovering military veterans establish themselves in life post-service. His responsibilities include helping veterans create personal budgets and strong credit-building habits. Additionally, he is on the Veteran’s Council for Elks Lodge Summit NJ where he helps the Grant Application team secure funding and assists veterans and their families move into new housing.
Dan received both his Undergraduate and M.B.A in Finance from Seton Hall University where he was a member and captain of the baseball team. Dan was the recipient of the University’s Male Scholar Athlete of the Year Award and finalist for Big East Conference Male Scholar Athlete of the Year. Dan resides in Chatham, NJ with his wife, Dana and their
American Foxhound, Lex Luthor.
